Maintaining its reputation for releasing quality movies, Amazon Prime is ready to bring a number of classics for the month of August including John-Wayne-starring The Longest Day and Clint Eastwood’s Unforgiven. There is no hiding the fact that Amazon Prime’s USP has been releasing heavy hitting movies and it would continue with its merry ways in August too!
Unlike Netflix, Amazon Prime doesn’t have a long list of originals and that is quite apparent from the fact that there is no original programming made available by it in August. On the contrary, Netflix and Hulu have at least two originals for the same period. Other than that, Amazon releases only one documentary in the coming month which, when compared to the documentaries Hulu and Netflix release, is quite less. On the tv shows end, Amazon Prime brings HBO’s hit sitcom Curb Your Enthusiasm.
But still Amazon Prime has got their own unique formula and their reliance on movies has been working for them for a while now.
