J.K had previously indicated that the Harry Potter series has come to an end with the Cursed Child being a final. However, this tweet has got millions of fans getting crazy and wondering if the Cursed Child will be made in to a movie.
However, Broadway representative have confirmed that there is no truth to the news that the cursed child will be made into a movie. As one representative stated, “I can confirm that these rumors are absolutely NOT TRUE.
The show has not changed ownership. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child continues to be produced by Sonia Friedman, Colin Callender and Harry Potter Theatrical Productions in London, Broadway and all around the world.
Warner Bros. has always been a valued partner of Cursed Child since its inception. Their role has not changed.”
J.K also confirmed on a tweet on the Pottermore profile that something is coming up, but it’s definitely not a movie.
