Rambo Movies in Order: The Right Way to Watch them!


In this blog post, we will discuss Rambo movies in order. The first movie was released in 1982 and starred Sylvester Stallone. A Vietnam War veteran seeks revenge on the men who murdered his wife and kidnapped their daughter.

In 1985, Rambo III was released, which had John Rambo going back into the battle for one final mission in Afghanistan against Soviet forces. This time he has the CIA backing him up with weapons and training.

In 2008, Rambo got himself into another mess when he went to Thailand to help some missionaries get out of jail by fighting off hordes of gang members single-handedly before they could be executed at gunpoint by their captors.

First Blood (1982)

John Rambo has been arrested and released from the police station after having caused damage to public property. Then he gets into trouble with some red army in a small town as they try to make him leave their territory. After being followed by them for several miles on his way back home, he ends up killing most of them in an intense fight where he also uses a police station as cover to shoot at his enemies from within it.

Rambo II (1985)

Cast: Sylvester Stallone, Richard Crenna, Charles Napier.

This movie starts with John Rambo living somewhere in Thailand, where a local woman takes care of him. He spends his days working at the docks and fighting in underground boxing matches to keep himself entertained. Unfortunately, this all gets interrupted when Colonel Trautman (the man who trained Rambo) comes to ask him for one last mission: go back into Vietnam with an army of mercenaries so they can rescue some POWs.

Rambo III (1988)

John Rambo is sent into Afghanistan to find a soldier who has been missing in action for several years. He is working alongside a group of Christian missionaries trying to spread the good word in Afghanistan after it has been invaded and occupied by Soviet forces. This movie ends with Rambo defeating hordes of enemies single-handedly while armed only with his bow and arrow. He then manages to escape from them using a helicopter that comes looking for him.

Rambo IV (2008)

In this Rambo 4 movie, the retired John Rambo has to get into action again when he requests help from an old army buddy in Thailand. He tells Rambo that the local missionaries are being targeted by a ruthless warlord trying to control their village. Rambo agrees and goes there, where he has to fight off hordes of enemies armed only with his bow and arrow before getting caught up in an intense battle against tanks, helicopters, and many other kinds of weapons used by the warlords.

Rambo: Last Blood (2019)

Cast: Sylvester Stallone, Paz Vega, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Yvette Monreal.

In this Rambo: Last Blood movie, retired John Rambo gets dragged into an intense battle against a group of Mexican drug lords by the daughter of one man he killed during his time as a mercenary. He has to fight them off with all kinds of weapons before eventually killing them in hand-to-hand combat. Afterward, he is taken back home, where it turns out that people are after him for his past as a soldier.
