Pirates of the Caribbean is a multibillion-dollar Disney brand that includes a ride with the same name at Disneyland Park and a series of films, novels, comics, and video games. The Curse of the Black Pearl, released in 2003, was based on a renowned Disney theme park experience and, of course, presented audiences to the iconic Captain Jack Sparrow.

If you intend on binge-watching the series on weekends, make sure you correctly set your compass. Below is the franchise of all of the films in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies in order for you to check out.

1.   Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003)

Many Caribbean tales mention the Black Pearl, a pirate ship. As the film progresses, the audience is welcomed into the strange realm of the open seas, where they are confronted with their first otherworldly peril. The governor’s daughter, Elizabeth, is kidnapped by the pirates because she carries a precious coin related to a curse that has turned the pirates into the undead.

2.   Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest (2006)

This is the second film in the list of Pirates of the Caribbean movies in order. Dead Man’s Chest is the first installment of a two-part tale concluded in the second installment. Jack tries to evade 100 years of duty on his ship before the Kraken catches up with him, with the captain of the Flying Dutchman on his tail.

After the foundation laid by Dead Man’s Chest, At World’s End set out to wrap up the tale centered on the Flying Dutchman, and it did so in style. The Brethren Court requires the imprisoned Pirate Lord’s assistance in releasing the sea goddess Calypso. Captain Barbossa, Will Turner, and Elizabeth Swann must negotiate deceit and betrayal, locate Jack Sparrow, and form final alliances in preparation for one more decisive fight.

4.   Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011)

Captain Jack Sparrow encounters a lady from his past in London, and he isn’t sure if it’s love or if she’s a vicious con artist who is using him to obtain information about the Source’s location. So, the trio sets sail with a zombie crew in search of the mythical Fountain of Youth. On Stranger Tides is a narrative about a man on the lookout for love and encountering the infamous pirate Blackbeard. This is the next in the set of Pirates of the Caribbean movie in sequence.

5.   Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017)

When an unlucky Captain Jack Sparrow is nudged into an all-new adventure, the winds of ill fate blow even harder when lethal ghost sailors headed by his old adversary, the wicked Capt, Salazar, seek vengeance on him, the captain’s “sole chance” is the Trident of Poseidon, which the captain’s son joins forces with Jack to find.

6.   Pirates of the Caribbean: Tales of the Code: Wedlocked

Two feisty brides-to-be find they have something in common in this short prologue to the first Pirates of the Caribbean film: the absent groom. The “Auction scene” from the original attraction served as inspiration for the narrative. Two wenches believe they are engaged to Jack Sparrow, but he has secretly sold them to an auctioneer in exchange for a fancy hat.
