The Adventures of Superman and the Mole Men is a 1951 American independent black-and-white superhero film.
A strange group of individuals approaches the small town of Silsby, Kansas, in search of an oil well when Clart Kent and Lois Lane arrive. However, the drill has penetrated the subterranean home of a race of tiny bald humans that emerge from their caves seeking warmth. Lois and Clark arrive at the oil well and discover the dead watchman. When Lois sees one of the creatures and screams, Clark and the foreman explore the surroundings for signs of foul play. The Phantom Zone is shattered near Earth by Superman’s shockwave many years later. The three offenders are released and endowed with superhuman abilities thanks to the yellow light of the Sun. They continue toward Earth in hopes of Superman’s defeat.
Directed by Richard Lester and produced by Ilya and Alexander Salkind. The film stars Christopher Reeve as Superman/Clark Kent. Clark’s (Christopher Reeve) boss, Perry White (Jackie Cooper), fears Superman has gone too far with his recent acts of heroism.
The duration of the movie is 97 minutes long. The Superman III movie had a budget of $39 million and made more than $60 million in ticket sales worldwide.
Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987)
Superman IV is the Superman movie released in 1987. Superman’s arch-enemy, Nuclear Man is created by Lex Luthor. Superman becomes powerless when he saves Lois Lane from Nuclear Man’s nuclear blast. Superman goes into space to find the solution to his problem and finds that expelling his solar energy can revive him. Superman then finds Lex Luthor and returns with him to Earth where Superman forces Lex to help him fight off Nuclear Man which he does willingly in exchange for Superman saving his life again. Superman uses the nuclear reactor in Nuclear Man’s body to restore himself (although it destroys Nuclear Man in the process). Superman then defeats Nuclear Man and Superman flies off into space; his powers are restored. Superman’s new enemy is The Dazzler (a British rock star) who Superman must stop from destroying the world with lasers by redirecting them to space.

Superman Returns (2006)
The movie is about Superman returns to Earth after a long absence and finds his home planet in disarray from the aftermath of Superman II (1980).
Superman has been gone for five years due to the death of his father. He returns to Earth to find that things are not as he expected them to be. Superman’s concern with the Earth is that the world might have moved on without him but finds his home planet in disarray. He fights the old enemies of General Zod and Ursa who have been imprisoned in an otherworldly prison called The Phantom Zone.

In Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, we see Batman investigating Superman after defeating General Zod in Metropolis from Man of Steel. Superman too wants to have Batman investigated as he feels there is a need for a discussion about their relationship to one another. Both heroes fight each other but they agree that one wants them to work together while the other wants them apart. Superman and Batman fight Superman’s girlfriend, Lois Lane, Superman’s mother, Martha Kent. Superman becomes more human when he sees his mother in danger and that is what Batman fears most of Superman losing control which would be the end for humanity!
