Breaking the Silence, Ashton Kutcher Addresses His Anger Over Demi Moore’s Book

The Fury Behind the Fences, Ashton Kutcher

After the publication of Demi Moore’s book in 2019, Ashton Kutcher spoke publicly about his anger toward his ex-wife Demi Moore. Kutcher was married from 2005 to 2013, and their marriage attracted a lot of attention from the media owing to the age gap between them.

In ensuing years, Moore wrote the autobiography Inside Out, in which she discussed intimate details of her past relationship with Kutcher, who is now married to the actress Mila Kunis. Kutcher has explained his anger over the memoir in a new interview, stating that it was due to the timing of its release, as he had “finally got to a place where the press had laid off me and Mila and my life and my family.”

In a recent interview, actor Ashton Kutcher discussed his reaction to the book, saying, “I was f***ing pissed.” He added that “the next day,” following its release, media members “were at my kids’ school.” Although he was furious at the time, he insists that he does not have any “hard feelings” for Moore, the woman from whom he divorced in 2013.

As a result of his marriage to the Ghost star, he was the stepfather to Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah, the three children that the Ghost star had with Bruce Willis.

Kutcher stated the following about the daunting position that he had taken on at the time, “I was twenty-six, bearing the responsibility of an eight-year-old, a ten-year-old, and a twelve-year-old.” When asked to reflect on his time spent in the role of stepfather, the actor said the experience taught him “a lot.” The actor also discussed the difficulties associated with being in the public light and the pressure of maintaining a flawless appearance.
