Just six days ago, Britney Spears decided to deactivate her Instagram profile. Telling fans it was a break from all the attention and that she was celebrating her engagement. Her Instagram profile has been the ultimate platform for fans to get the latest updates from her. It has around 34 million followers. Some speculated that Britney was forced into doing so; however, she Tweeted about deactivating her profile.

Britney is back within less than a week of deactivating her account. Seems like the singer is just way too addicted to Instagram. She posted some photos from her engagement celebrations as well. She captioned the photo writing,
Some shots from my weekend getaway to celebrate my engagement with my … holy shit … FIANCÉ … I still can’t believe it !!!!” Spears captioned two close-up photos of herself standing in a green area, which look similar to many others that she has posted. “I couldn’t stay away from the gram too long so I’m back already 💍😂🤷🏼♀️🤣 !!!!”

It is really shocking that within 2 hours of posting, around half a million fans liked the post! However, some believed that the photos were old; some fans even demanded the star to post more photos or post a photo with today’s newspaper. Some fans even asked her how come her hair appeared to be completely blond as lately she was seen with partially red highlights on her hair.
A fan wrote,
“Ok but where’s the red hair?” and “But Britney you have shorter red hair now so how could these be from your engagement getaway?”
She later added to the photo,
“Psss I took these in Palm Springs with clip-in extensions 💁🏼♀️😉🌹!!!!!” she added about the photos.
Another one asked, “Can you upload more pictures? we’re quite concerned Britney.”
After reading some of these comments, she uploaded a video of her dancing that was from July. It was only a week ago when the pop star publicly announced her plans to take the vows with her lover of almost 5 years, Sam Asghari.

The two met in 2016 when he co-starred in her video for “Slumber Party.” It was two days after the announcement of her engagement that the “Womanizer” singer deactivated her account from Instagram. It was later clarified by her that it was a way to celebrate her engagement.
As her conservatorship case against her father has been quite toxic, fans and fellow stars are extremely protective of the pop star. The good news for fans, and specifically Britney, was that earlier this month, her father, Jamie, who was her conservator, officially petitioned to step down from the position he held since 2008.
For the petition to go into effect, the judge needs to sign it off; the next hearing is set to take place on the 29th of September.

Asghari spoke to the Men’s Health magazine and shared the secret to their happiness as a couple,
“I just want her to be happy. If something makes her happy, I’ll do it. I’m not going to argue. What’s that saying? ‘Happy wife, happy life.'”
