Depp loses “Pirates of the Caribbean” Franchise, Accuses Heard on 10th Day of Trial

day 10 depp v heard

Day 10th of Amber Heard vs. Johnny Depp continues, with more shocks and surprises. Up until now, there’ve been talks of a whirlwind romance, domestic abuse, and violent confrontations between the two famed actors. While Depp is suing Heard for $50 million, Heard is countersuing for $100 million.

The actor was anticipated to return to his famed role as Captain Jack Sparrow, the lead and beloved pirate of the Disney franchise. It was this unfound allegation that broke the ties of the actor with the production. Earlier he was asked what he had lost from this trial, to which he responded “nothing short of everything”. @musingofmegan tweeted the question everybody was thinking:

On the fourth day, the audio conversation played in the courtroom showed how broken their strained marriage was. The defamation case cost Depp not just upcoming franchises but technically his entire reputation. I was broken, really at the end, couldn’t take it anymoreDepp confessed at the end of the six-week trial.

On Wednesday, Christian Carino, ex-agent of both Heard and Depp and talent agent at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), took the witness stand virtually and claimed that the loss of role was Amber’s allegations of abuse.

Heard’s article entitled “I spoke up against sexual violence – and faced our culture’s wrath. That has to change” had no mention of the actor’s name explicitly, although the lawyers argued that it was clear as day. The Former agent claimed that the allegation had a “traumatic impact” on Depp’s image.

Carino further shared that through conversations with producer, Jerry Bruckheimer co-chair CAA, Bryan Lourd, Disney had decided to break ties with the actor, without any open discussion. According to him it was simply “understood” within the industry. @alice2096xo tweeted:

Carino was great friends with both the Edward Scissorhands actor and the Aquaman actress and was asked to represent both at various times. He shared how Depp is one of the finest actors of his generation  despite what the allegation does to his reputation.

He shared, “I think what he was known for off-screen was a shroud of mystery of who he was, because he was not visible to the public,” He further added. “It changed with the exposure that came with the lawsuits.”

Heard’s lawyer tried to pin the reason for the actor’s exclusion from the franchise on his behavior with the character’s onset or any unwelcome act. In 2015, when the fifth Pirates movie was filmed, Depp’s tardiness became a routine thing. Carino shared, I’m aware of him being tardy, but he’s been tardy on everything his entire life.”

Mr. Carino testified about the actress dating famed billionaire, Elon Musk, at the time of reconciliation with ex Johnny Depp. He even advised her that dating famous men meant she’d be attracting the unwanted public to the matter.

In the earlier trial days, the video of Amber Heard and Elon Musk in an elevator went viral and was one that further proved this point.

Heard had tried to reconcile with actor Johnny Depp, despite their divorce in 2016 and a restraining order in 2017.

Initially, it was reported that Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s ongoing defamation trial could include prominent witnesses, including SpaceX CEO Elon Musk. But now, Mask’s attorney Alex Spiro said on Wednesday that his client would not testify in a Virginia court.

Heard even texted Carino in 2017 after her break-up with the tech billionaire to which he responded You told me a thousand times you were just filling space.”

The jury stood witness to two police officers who were first responders to a domestic violence call at the couple’s penthouse in May 2016. They shared that there was no evidence of a crime or Ms. Heard being abused. They shared that the actress was “uncooperative” and did not want to file the report. @askDinaDoll1 tweeted:

With body cam footage, they were able to confirm this, but the opposition questioned their claim. Due to video and audio quality, it was hard to tell the actress’s condition. Heard’s lawyer asked that the officers should have taken her outside or to a different room to hear her side of the story and examine the situation.

Depp’s unbearable loss of “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise was truly devastating and the actor claims that he’ll never return to the franchise, even if Disney offers him “$300 million”. The trial will continue the next day with more evidence and testimonies.
