On February 24, five individuals approached Lady Gaga’s Dog walker while he was walking her three French Bulldogs. The individuals approached Ryan Fischer, the dog walker in Hollywood, and started shooting and injured him. Fisher tried his best to save the dogs, but the individuals identified as James Jackson, Jaylin White, and Lafayette Whaley managed to steal her two dogs, Koji and Gustav.
As per USA Today, The identified suspects have been charged with an “attempt to murder and robbery”. Two of them have been charged supplements to the crime as per the LAPD. As reported by the police, Fisher was walking the dogs in Sierra Bonita Avenue, and Sunset Boulevard. And then, around 10 p.m, the two suspects approached him in a sedan.
These men came out of the car and firstly demanded the dogs, which Fisher refused, and then they started the shooting taking two of the three dogs along with them. The stolen Dogs were named Koji and Gustav.
However, things took a complete turn when Lady Gaga announced to pay half a million dollars to anyone who would bring her dogs back. The French bulldogs are an expensive breed and cost around $4000-$5000 each. But the reward was much bigger, and hence, someone did turn up with the dogs.
My beloved dogs Koji and Gustav were taken in Hollywood two nights ago. My heart is sick and I am praying my family will be whole again with an act of kindness. I will pay $500,000 for their safe return. Email KojiandGustav@gmail.com to contact us. pic.twitter.com/3NY9u7Mw2K

A woman named Mc Bride showed up at the LAPD Olympic Station to return the dogs. The detective on the case was easily able to find a connection between the father of one of the suspects, named Harold White.
It is not clear, though, that the actual prize money was paid by Lady Gaga to the lady who returned the dogs. In an announcement, the police reported that the lady found the dogs and responded to the reward email.
Fisher luckily survived the injures and tried his best to protect the dogs and saved one despite heavily bleeding. One of his lungs collapsed due to the shooting but thankfully, doctors were able to minimize the damage even though they had to remove some parts of his lung removed.
Four days ago, while a car sped away and blood poured from my gunshot wound, an angel trotted over and laid next to me. My panicked screams calmed as I looked at her, even though it registered that the blood pooling around her tiny body was my own. I cradled Asia as best I could, thanked her for all the incredible adventures we’d been on together, apologized that I couldn’t defend her brothers, and then resolved that I would still try to save them… and myself.
Fisher calls this a very close call with death and is thankful for his life and the safe return of the dogs. Lady Gaga also praised him and called him “Forever a hero.”
The police and detectives concluded that the dogs were not stolen because of their celebrity owner, instead, they were stolen because of their extremely high value.
The police have presented the case to all the major crime divisions of the Los Angeles Country District Attorney’s Office on Thursday for filing consideration. At this point, it is not known whether the suspects have any legal representation or not.
