Heated Exchange Between Johnny Depp and Heard’s Lawyer Over Sexually Explicit Texts

allegations on depp

According to Johnny Depp, listening to Amber Heard testify about their strained relationship for days was “crazy.”

As the six-week defamation trial comes to a conclusion, the 58-year-old actor returned to the stand on Wednesday in a final bid to clear his name. He had a difficult cross-examination with Heard’s lawyer, Ben Rottenborn, even implying that her team may have falsified evidence.

Depp told the court on Wednesday at the end of direct, It’s insane to hear heinous accusations of violence, sexual violence, that she’s attributed to me, that she’s accused me of. I don’t think anyone enjoys having to split themselves open and tell the truth, but there are times when one just simply has to because it’s gotten out of control.”

Heard testified about more than a dozen alleged violent episodes, including three claimed sexual assaults, during her four-year relationship with Depp. Depp referred to the charges as “horrible, ridiculous, humiliating, ludicrous, painful, savage, unimaginably brutal, cruel and all false. All false.”

“No human being is perfect,” Depp added, “but I have never in my life committed sexual battery, physical abuse, all these outlandish, outrageous stories of me committing these things.”

Depp said he’s been “waiting to be able to bring the truth out” for the last six-year ever since Heard filed for divorce and temporary restraining order (TRO) in May 2016.

“This is not easy for any of us, I know that. But no matter what happens, I did get here, and I did tell the truth, and I have spoken up for what I’ve been carrying on my back, reluctantly, for six years,” he further added!

This Tweet regarding the court proceedings explains the situation very well:

According to a source close to Heard, “Johnny Depp’s return to the stand is actually Depp’s last stand. His last chance to change the subject and mislead the jury. Don’t mistake charm for candor, or snark for sincerity. What we’re witnessing isn’t testimony, it’s a performance. If he’d been this good the last few years, he would have gotten those roles he lost.”

Heard’s legal team had planned to ask the actor to testify, but they changed their minds at the last minute. Depp testified as a rebuttal witness on Wednesday, and his lawyer questioned him about a number of topics Heard testified about, including her work in Aquaman.

Heard was adamant about getting the part on her own, saying “I got myself that role by auditioning, that’s how it works”, but according to Depp that’s “not exactly true.”

In 2015, while she and Depp were still married, Heard auditioned for the movie. The actress reportedly contacted her then-husband when she learned the film would be shot in Australia.

Depp added, “Australia for Ms. Heard was a potential problem,”Depp is most likely referencing “Yorkigate,” which occurred in 2015 when the actress illegally brought the couple’s Yorkshire terriers, Pistol and Boo, into the country.

The charges were withdrawn in exchange for Heard pleading guilty to creating a fraudulent customs declaration.

According to Depp’s testimony, he “spoke to three upper echelon Warner executives” on Heard’s behalf, as he had a working relationship with the studio.

He further added, “I can only say that ultimately she did get the job in the film, so hopefully, I suppose, I curbed their worries to some degree.”

When you consider the horrible abuse claims at the center of the trial, the Aquaman back and forth seems petty.

Heard, on the other hand, testified that Depp was bossy and jealous of her career, as well as of any male co-stars, which frequently resulted in arguments. The actor’s legal team appears to be attempting to disprove this.

The conversation then turned to Depp’s drug use, notably MDMA, sometimes known as ecstasy. When the actor was on eight to ten doses of the substance, Heard said she was assaulted with a liquor bottle. Depp admitted to taking MDMA “six” times in his life but denied ever taking eight to ten pills at once.

He further explained in the court, “I’m pretty sure I’d be dead. I think one would die, probably rather quickly.”

Kate Moss Testified For Ex-Boyfriend Johnny

Earlier on Wednesday, Kate Moss spoke in favor of her ex-boyfriend, denying Heard’s claim that he threw her down a staircase during their 1990s romance.

Moss claimed that she fell while on vacation in Jamaica with Depp and that the actor assisted her and sought medical treatment.

On this incident, Depp shared, “I recall speaking with Ms. Heard about that very incident. Ms. Heard took the story and turned it into a very ugly incident all in her mind. There was never a moment where I pushed Kate down any set of stairs.”

Here’s what a fan had shared about the whole Kate Moss incident:

He further said, “We were in Jamaica, I had left our bungalow about three minutes prior to her, I was standing outside and suddenly rain just starts coming down like it’s a monsoon, and then I remember looking and seeing Kate coming out the door and there were three little wooden stairs. She slipped, her legs went up and she landed directly on her lower back. She was obviously physically in pain, she was hurt, she was crying. So I ran over and grabbed her to make sure she was alright. That’s it. That’s the whole story.”

In contrast to Depp, who can’t look her in the eyes because he’s “guilty,” Heard said she had no difficulty seeing him. She kept her gaze fixed on him throughout the whole of his testimony, and she had a strong reaction when he mentioned her sister, Whitney.

Depp stated that he “witnessed quite a lot “ instances of Heard abusing her sister verbally. He claimed Whitney was handled like a “lackey” and “punching bag” by the actress. He said Heard threw wine in the face of her sister. Heard kept a wary eye on Depp, occasionally returning her gaze to her sister in the galley.

What do you think will be the end of this case?

According to Rottenborn, Depp and his assistant exchanged sexually explicit messages. The actor looked to have scribbled that a woman’s “p**** is RIGHTFULLY MINE!!!!! Should I not just bust in and remove its hinges tonight??? … I NEED. I WANT. I TAKE.”

Depp claimed that someone else may have sent the text from his phone, but that he lacks “that kind of hubris or expectation,” which he described as “very grotesque.”

Then another graphic message Depp sent to his ex-agent, which the star didn’t deny composing, was read by Rottenborn.

“I have no mercy, no fear and not an ounce of emotion, or what I once thought was love for this gold digging, low level, dime a dozen, mushy, pointless dangling overused flappy fish market.”

He further wrote, “I’m so f****** happy she wants to go to fight this out!!! … I cannot wait to have this waste of a c** g****** out of my life!!!”

He continued, “I can only hope that karma kicks in and take the gift of breath from her… Sorry, man… But, NOW, I will stop at nothing!!!” he continued.

This is the final time the jury will hear directly from Depp before decisions.

His attorney asked him, “Mr. Depp, did you ever physically abuse Ms. Heard during your relationship?”

“Never,” he insisted. “Never.”

Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s defamation trial has been scheduled for the final week of testimony. On Friday, May 27th, the final arguments will be heard.

The trial is heating up, and it’s impossible to predict who will win. Despite Depp’s followers’ unwavering support throughout the trial, the court verdict might go either way!

Here’s what Johnny Depp’s fans have said about the proceedings:

We are all looking forward to the final verdict!
