Pink Calls Out Supporters of Roe v. Wade Overturning to Stop Listening to Her Music

Pink reaction to Roe vs Wade overtunning

Pink sends out a clear message to the supporters of Roe v. Wade overturning by the Supreme Court: Don’t listen to her music. As a result of the decision, American women can no longer have an abortion if they want to. The decision will be made by individual states. Roe v. Wade was a landmark and with its undoing, the future of American women looks bleak.

She tweeted on Saturday a message and also aimed it at people who threaten marriage equality, and her racist followers.

One Twitter follower got Pink’s attention when he blatantly stated that he has “never had an abortion. Also have never been with a woman that aborted my child. My wife & I saved our grandson from deletion by providing our complete support for our son & his girlfriend, best thing we’ve ever done.”

Pink replied him scathingly:

“I’m so glad you HAD THE CHOICE TO DECIDE WHAT WAS RIGHT FOR YOU, SIR. Must be nice.”

Another follower found Pink’s statement funny and said “I hope her agent survives the stroke.” Pink got back to the follower by saying “I am my agent, and we’re fine.”

The “What About Us” star went on to praise singers Olivia Rodrigo and Lily Allen for dedicating a duet of Allen’s “F*** You” during the Glastonbury music festival to the SCOTUS judges who struck down 1973’s ruling.

Rodrigo’s words were:

“I’m devastated and terrified that so many women and so many girls are going to die because of this. I wanted to dedicate this next song to the five members of the Supreme Court who have showed us that at the end of the day, they truly don’t give a s— about freedom.”

In her dedication she stated:

“This song goes out to the justices Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett and Brett Kavanaugh. We hate you.”

Pink appreciated the duo and said on her Twitter:

“Thank you Olivia and Lily.”

In the past, Pink has always been vocal about speaking her mind on social media. Just last year, she offered her support to the Norwegian female beach handball team when they refused to wear bikinis for the entire game.

The Grammy-winning singer was gracious enough that she volunteered to pay the disciplinary fines for the 10-member team as a result of not wearing the required dress code.

Pink, Rodrigo, and Allen aren’t the only ones outraged at the decision of Roe v. Wade getting scrapped. A number of celebrities voiced their concerns and heavily criticized Supreme Court’s decision

There’s a huge and justified uproar against the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Particularly because it takes away women’s right to make a decision about their bodies. Unfortunately, the Supreme Court pays no heed and it’ll be implemented across the country within the upcoming weeks.
