Star Wars: The Bad Batch is Coming to Disney & This is What We Know!

Set between the finale of Clone Wars, which dropped back in May, and the initial Star Wars set of three, The Bad Batch will take after the characters as they explore a world beneath the oppressive rule of an empire drawing closer to the crest of its power. The Star Wars saga is far from complete. Disney+ just revealed the following installment in the sprawling franchise: Star Wars: The Bad Batch.

The new Lucasfilm animated series and Disney+ original will choose up where Star Wars: The Clone Wars, documenting the mercenary lives of a squad of hereditarily adjusted ex-clone troopers named “the Bad Batch.” For those who aren’t familiar with the group, you’ll be able to stream the first arc of the ultimate season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which at long last presented the squad into rule after a long time of expectation from fans.

While no release date has however been set, Disney+ did uncover that the series is slated to make a big appearance in 2021. Star Wars: The Bad Batch comes from official maker Dave Filoni, the showrunner behind Clone Wars and an EP on The Mandalorian. Star Wars animated series veterans Athena Portillo, Brad Rau, and Jennifer Corbett will too serve as official producers; Rau will moreover act as overseeing executive whereas Corbett will be the show’s head author.
