‘The Crown’ Might Feature Prince Harry’s & Meghan Markle’s Story

After the fourth season of The Crown wreaked havoc, many are speculating that Netflix may also consider integrating the storeys of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle into the program.

Although nothing is rock solid yet, Omid Scobie, the royal expert, and journalist suggests that Netflix might be thinking of expanding the show to include the British monarchy’s current senior royals, including the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

“I have heard rumblings that there is talk within Netflix about the possibility of whether the show can be extended,” he said on the Heirpod podcast.

“He went on to say that for members of the Royal Family, the show has also become “harder and harder to imagine watching it as it advances into more modern times.”

Before the story reaches Prince William and Kate Middleton, the producers originally intended to end the show, but if rumours are to be believed, that might be changing now.

“I think as the show progresses into the more present-day house of Windsor it becomes harder and harder for members of the Royal Family to even stomach the idea of watching it. There is already a lot of talk about series 5 and series 6,” Scobie said.

Although the show was initially intended to run for five years, back in July, Peter Morgan, the producer of the series, extended it by a year.

Scobie said, “When you think of how much controversy this present season has caused, this is going to be a presence in members of the Royal Family lives for some time.”
