Lately, the trend #CancelDisneyPlus had taken over all of the web. This was due to the termination of Gina Carano as Lucasfilm decided to remove her from the Mandalorian series. The production house decided to pull her out of the franchise due to her social media posts that denigrate people on the basis of their cultural and religious identities and anti-Semitic element which are unacceptable.
Carano posted,
Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors… even by children,” wrote Gina Carano in the now-deleted post. “Because history is edited, most people today don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views?
The actress has not posted something inappropriate for the first time. Earlier Carano kicked up dust on social media with remarks about wearing masks and voter fraud. In November 2020, she made fun of those using preferred social media pronouns by mentioning “beep/bop/boop” in her Twitter bio. The action was taken as transphobic.
Later, she walked back and said the Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal. “helped me understand why people were putting them in their bios. I didn’t know before but I do now. I won’t be putting them in my bio but good for all you who choose to. I stand against bullying, especially the most vulnerable & freedom to choose.”
However, this time she has not been spared and has made a whole lot of people upset with her comments on the Jewish community and people took it to Twitter.
as a jewish person, this is fucking vile and unnecessary. gina carano needs to be held accountable. the oppression my people have faced because of our religion and ethnicity is NOT the same as political disagreements. pic.twitter.com/ABuM8kO5hM

I think Fondoodoo is saying that Gina has taken too many kicks to the head because legally speaking "no harm comes to one who consents" so engaging in sports for $$$ is hardly a self-inflicted crime against humanity.

@ginacarano "I am Grey. I stand between the🕯️and the ⭐.We are Grey. We stand between the darkness and the light."
A great war is coming – indeed it may have arrived.A war against cancel culture. One where allies from across the political spectrum must stand shoulder to shoulder pic.twitter.com/sdqQG06Ddb— Greg Willis (@semiarid) February 18, 2021
She also tweeted this out, which is an anti-semitic meme which I'm willing to admit it's not immediately obvious that it's anti-semitic to most people. This one I can understand her just being kind of a boomer here, but it adds fuel to the fire for sure. pic.twitter.com/hAhYG6lkzQ

In the Star Wars series, the actress played Cara Dune and, according to IndieWire, a Disney spokesman confirmed that her character would not be recast for the next third season.
Earlier this week, after she and Lucasfilm were at odds with each other, Carano announced that she was sidelined during the press promotion for the second season. Lucasfilm wanted her to post an apology written by their staff, the former MMA fighter alleged.
Earlier on last year before ‘The Mandalorian’ came out, they wanted me to use their exact wording for an apology over pronoun usage. I declined and offered a statement in my own words. I made clear I wanted nothing to do with mocking the transgender community, and was just drawing attention to the abuse of the mob in forcing people to put pronouns in their bio, that was the last time I was contacted about any type of public statement or apology from Lucasfilm.
As per Carano, it was on social media where she found out that she had been fired! Subsequently, a spokesperson from Lucasfilm stated on February 10th,
Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her to be in the future. Nevertheless, her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable.
Carano was also dropped by her talent agency UTA in the aftermath of her firing, and Hasbro has reportedly scrapped plans to make more toys based on her sci-fi character.
In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, retailer BigBadToyStore informed that in light of recent events, the company is not producing any more action figures of Carano’s character, forcing it to cancel pre-orders.
A spokeswoman for BigBadToyStore stated the following on Monday via email,
Hasbro planned for another production run and we were accepting preorders from that production run. Due to recent events, Hasbro was no longer approved to produce any more of this figure.
Carano has already moved on from “The Mandalorian.” prompting demands to reinstate her. According to Deadline, by collaborating with Ben Shapiro’s The Daily Wire on a new film project, the actress is hitting back at Disney and canceling culture.
