The Mission Impossible star, Tom Cruise, 59, is one of the most good-looking actors in Hollywood. However, despite that, since his divorce from Katie Holmes, in 2012 he has remained single. Tom shares daughter Suri, 15, with Katie. He was working for the seventh installment of Mission Impossible when the cupid came and secretly shot his arrow on him.
It has been reported that Tom and co-star Hayley Atwell, 39, had developed very strong chemistry from early on when they started shooting but have now gone back to being just friends. Especially, given the production delays due to Covid-19, the two got a lot of time to spend together and go places. This, of course, further strengthened the relationship between the two.
As per an industry insider,
“It has been a very intense period of filming together. They really got on well – and they’re obviously both very good-looking Hollywood stars so it made for a good match. They really got on well – but as the latest film winds down they’ve decided to go back to being friends. Their filming schedules are very full-on, and Tom has a number of other commitments coming up and is always shooting around by private helicopter and jet so it just ran its course. But they’re still happy to work together. It’s a shame, but just one of those things. They still get on well.”
The couple never confirmed their romance but seeing them getting closer and closer; it was very obvious. The two were also spotted at Wimbledon’s 12th day, enjoying the game from the VIP box; similarly, they were spotted at many other high-profile events as well.
Tom, who plays the character of Ethan Hunt in Mission Impossible 7’s installation, and Hayley, who plays Grace, have spent a lot of time shooting together last year all across the UK, including locations such as Rome, Venice, and Norway.
Seeing Tom personally involved so much with Hayley has, of course, created headlines as the actor has not been romantically involved with anyone since 2012. But in Hayley’s case, the two “hit it off from day one,” so much that they were said to have become “fairly inseparable.” Previously, Hayley was married to an English doctor, but the couple split in 2020. Hayley was the Top Gun star’s first long-term partner.

“Tom and Hayley hit it off from day one. Lockdown, and all the difficulties that came with it, brought them even closer, and they’ve become fairly inseparable. They’ve been meeting up after hours, and she’s been to his London pad. They get on brilliantly, and both seem very happy.”
Before Katie, Tom was married to Nicole Kidman for 11 years, from 1990 to 2001. The couple adopted two children, Connor, 26, and Isabella, 28, who had been raised in the Church of Scientology. Tom’s first marriage was with Mimi Rogers in 1987; the marriage only lasted 3 years.
