Austin Powers is brought back to life in the present day, spoofing 1960s spy movies in which cryogenically frozen secret agent Austin Powers is revived. Powers becomes instantly outdated once synonymous with style; he soon discovers that his speech, fashion sense, and attitude to women are hopelessly outdated. He seeks assistance from a thoroughly modern lady to assist him in his mission to defeat Dr. Evil, who is also back in the present day seeking revenge against Austin for defeating him in their last encounter.

The Producers (1967)

Following the success of his Broadway musical, producer Max Bialystock (Zero Mostel) trades sexual favors with old ladies for money contributions. Blazing Saddles (1974)

The Castle (1997)

Withnail & I (1987)

The Jerk (1979)

This Is Spinal Tap (1984)

This Is Spinal Tap examines the self-contained world of a heavy metal group attempting to reclaim the top spot, including everything from its convoluted history of highs and lows to gold albums, name changes, and undersold concert dates, as well as the full ensemble of necessary groupies, promoters, hangers-on, and historians.
