Britney Spears Moving on from Family Trauma; Celebrates All Her Accomplishments

Title Britney Spears Says Her Family

While reflecting on the past, Britney Spears shared a lengthy Instagram post on Monday. The heartthrob diva is bluntly opening up about her past, while positively looking at the New Year with a fresh perspective and a new start.

In an elaborated Instagram post on Monday, the iconic pop star deliberated some sensitive topics involving her immediate family, and how the spiritual power of prayer and her past career accomplishments are helping her move forward.

“I had an experience three years ago where I stopped believing in God,” Spears stated. “From every angle, I was being hurt for no reason and my family was hurting me. I went into a state of shock and the way I coped was being [in] fake denial. It was too much to really face.”

“Honestly my family embarrassed me and hurt me deeply,” Spears revealed, further adding “tooting my own horn and seeing my past accomplishments reflecting back at me actually helped” to overcome her self-doubt.

She even criticized and openly slammed her family in the past on social media and talked about how she is hurt deep inside.

“Last year was growth for me… I still have a ways to go!!!” the singer wrote on another slide.

“My goal this year is to push myself a bit more and do things that scare me,” she added. “We are just people and I’m not superwoman but I do know what makes me happy and brings me joy and I try to meditate on those places and thoughts that enable me to experience it.”

On Wednesday, Spears, 40, shared a video on Instagram of herself standing in front of the bathroom mirror as she sang several notes. In the caption, she also called out her family stating, “I just realized this today guy… after what my family tried to do to me three years ago… I needed to be my own cheerleader 🤷🏼‍️ !!!!”

She continued, “God knows they weren’t …so I just read up on my self and this is what I found: Multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning pop icon Britney Spears is one of the most successful and celebrated entertainers in pop history with nearly 100 million records sold worldwide. In the U.S. alone, she has sold more than 70 million albums, singles and songs, according to Nielsen Music.

The beloved and often controversial singer also bragged about her past accomplishments and worth by stating, “Spears has sold 33.6 million albums in the U.S. and ranks as the 18th-best selling album artist in the Nielsen era. Her songs have drawn 25 billion in cumulative radio airplay audience and 2.6 billion on-demand U.S. audio and video streams combined and she’s sold 39.8 million singles (36.9 million via downloads).”

Ending her message, she elucidated that by posting her candid video, she was “reminding myself and the world of who I am !!!!”

“Yes … I will be my own cheerleader 📣 … why ???? I’m here to remind my white “classy” family that I haven’t forgotten what they did to me nor will I ever forget !!!!” she wrote, adding: “Pssss new song in the works … I’m gonna let you know what I mean 😉 !!!!!”

This wasn’t the first instance that she has opened up about finding her worth since Britney’s father Jamie was suspended from conservatorship after 13 years. Earlier this month, in another Instagram post she expressed her excitement and embarrassment stating that she was eventually able to draw $300 from an ATM “and was so proud” of that moment, clarifying that she was also “maybe a little” embarrassed to share the news with her fans.

“I’m more embarrassed for my family for coding the fact that I wasn’t allowed to have cash for so long when I worked my little ass off for them,” she stated. “I’m embarrassed for the state of California for permitting my father to have my work as hard as he worked me all those years and never seeing a dime.”

Even though she has ambitions to release new music, Spears has already clearly stated that she doesn’t foresee returning for a tour in the future.

“I know I’m not playing in huge arenas with my loud band anymore but I will be honest and say life on the road is hard!! My first three years in the biz and on the road were great but I’ll be completely honest and say that after those three tours and the pace I was going… I don’t think I ever want to do it again,” she inscribed in the same post. “I hated it.”

There’s no doubt Britney has suffered a lot of hardships during the past several years as according to her she faced “conservatorship abuse.” The eye-candy “princess of pop” seems to be getting back to her normal life. The pop star and her fiancé, Sam Asghari recently celebrated their first Christmas together since the conclusion of Spears’ 13-year conservatorship last month.
