Comedy Trio Reunites

Abhishek Bachchan, who appeared in the third Housefull movie, is back to join Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh. Bachchan shared his excitement, saying,

‘Housefull’ is one of my favorite comedy franchises and coming back feels like returning home. It’s always been a great pleasure to work with Sajid Nadiadwala. I am looking forward to having mad fun on the sets with my fellow actors Akshay and Ritesh. I’m also so excited to collaborate again with my dear friend Tarun Mansukhani. I’m really looking forward to working with him again after ‘Dostana.’ This is going to be a lot of fun”.

A Stellar Cast and New Laughs

In addition to the regulars, Housefull 5 welcomes Bollywood veterans Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar to join the madness. Their presence will add an extra layer of excitement to this star-studded cast. And, of course, it’s impossible to imagine a Housefull movie without Chunky Panday, who is expected to reprise his iconic role as ‘Akhri Pasta.’ Even at 61, Panday is set to bring his signature comedic flair to the screen once again.

Directed by Tarun Mansukhani with New Challenges

Housefull 5, directed by Tarun Mansukhani, will be the most challenging film in the series due to its ambitious production. A significant part of the film will be shot on a cruise, bringing a fresh twist to the comedy formula. The production kicks off in the UK in August 2024. The Housefull series will make Bollywood history as the first Hindi film franchise to reach five installments.

A Cruise Comedy Adventure

According to an exclusive report, the cast and crew will board a cruise in September to shoot key scenes over a 45-day schedule on the water. A source shared, “This is the most exciting part of the film, as the franchise leaps by introducing the audience to a completely new world in the comic space.”

Housefull 5 is set to release on June 6, 2025. With this strong cast and the series’ signature humor, it’s sure to be a massive hit.
