In a candid interview, Nicholas Galitzine, star of the newly released summer movie “The Idea of You,” opened up about how the Grammy-winning K-pop boy band BTS influenced his portrayal of the character Hayes Campbell. As an ARMY himself, The Purple Hearts actor drew inspiration from the music performances and choreography of Bangtan to bring authenticity to his role in the film.
While acknowledging he could never match BTS’s dance moves, Galitzine did say that reflecting on their finesse and charm mentored him a lot for the role. He believed that capturing these characteristics would bring a greater sense of realism to the movie. And it did!
