He will be there for the French press launch of Lucasfilm’s new series ‘Star Wars: The Acolyte,’ streaming on Disney+. Lee plays a Jedi Master in the show.

His performance in ‘Squid Game’ as Seong Gi-hun, a financially struggling father, earned him an Emmy Award for best actor in a drama series, making him the first non-English speaking actor to win this honor. This role significantly boosted his international fame and career.

In ‘Star Wars: The Acolyte,’ Lee’s character is a respected Jedi Master investigating a series of shocking crimes.

The story pits him against a dangerous warrior from his past, revealing dark and sinister forces. The show promises thrilling twists and deep mysteries.

The series, created by Leslye Headland and based on George Lucas’s ‘Star Wars,’ features a star-studded cast, including Amandla Stenberg, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, and Carrie-Anne Moss.

Headland and Kathleen Kennedy, Simon Emanuel, and others serve as executive producer.

Cécile Menoni, executive director of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival, expressed excitement about Lee’s participation.
