Page Kennedy, known for his role in The Meg, is set to star in the upcoming horror film The Breed.
The film, which is a remake of the Wes Craven-produced 2006 cult classic, promises to bring a fresh and terrifying twist to the original story.

Kennedy, a Shakespearean-trained performer, will play Farmer John, a country-rapper who adds a touch of humor to the film. The Breed follows an eclectic group on a mission to rescue abandoned dogs on a remote island, only to encounter unimaginable horrors.
The new version of The Breed will be directed by Nathan and Griff Furst. Kennedy joins a cast that includes Grace Caroline Currey, known for her roles in “Annabelle: Creation” and “Fall.”
The Furst brothers are directing and producing the film through their Curmudgeon Films shingle.
In the original 2006 film, directed by Nicholas Mastandrea, an island’s idyllic setting turns nightmarish when a pack of genetically altered dogs hunts down the characters. The upcoming remake aims to retain the chilling essence of the original while introducing modern twists.
Kennedy’s recent work includes “The Meg 2: The Trench,” where he reprised his role alongside Jason Statham. He has also appeared in Netflix’s “The Upshaws” and the upcoming action-comedy “Code 3.”
In addition to acting, Kennedy is a rapper with albums like “Torn Pages” and “Same Page, Different Story.”
