In the early 1990s, a new animated series burst onto television screens, capturing the imaginations of kids and adults alike with its zany humor, sharp satire, and lovable characters. That show was “Animaniacs,” and it quickly became a cultural phenomenon, winning over audiences with its irreverent take on everything from politics to pop culture. Animaniacs was revived in 2020 by Hulu. Now, “Animaniacs” is here with its final season, with a revival capturing the hearts of the new generation of fans. If you are trying to figure out how to watch Animaniacs Season 3 on Hulu from outside the US, we’ve got you.

The release of the third and final season of the Animaniacs remake is making fans go wild. They cannot wait to watch it and see more of the lovely guy Ralph.

Pinky and the Brain fans know that ever since the show debuted in 1993, the lovable Animaniacs characters have had one goal: to rule the world. Fans have speculated over the years that Pinky, the less intelligent of the two genetically enhanced lab mice, is the mastermind, foiling Brain’s plans in subtle ways or, in some versions of the theory, actually conducting experiments on Brain, despite Brain being portrayed as the genius of the pair.

It’s an intriguing theory, and the men behind the duo’s voices—Maurice LaMarche and Rob Paulsen—are finally discussing it. For Pinky and The Brain fans, the revival has been a welcome trip down memory lane, and fans are showing appreciation on social media.

LaMarche and Paulsen, creators of Animaniacs, said ahead of the third and final season that they are still determining if the theory is legit but that it is integral to the story continuing that Brain manages not actually to take over the world.

“I don’t know if that’s a legit theory in terms of the ethos of the show,” LaMarche, who voices Brain, said. “I’ll tell you in real life, it’s Rob Paulsen who’s the genius, and I’m insane. But if Brain succeeds in taking over the world, then, you know, show over, and this is our third and final season.”

LaMarche explained that just because the show ends with this season doesn’t mean it’s over forever. He highlighted Futurama’s upcoming summer relaunch as evidence that he can return and continue. He also expressed optimism that there will be more Pinky and the Brain.

“We’re just taking a little rest,” he said. “And who knows if we’ll see these guys again. I, for one, would love to see a Pinky and the Brain motion picture.”

According to fans, more scenes of The Warners interacting with Pinky and The Brain would have been a welcome addition to Animaniacs. Fans responded that seeing all five of them in the same situation simultaneously has so much potential for comedy.

Even though there has been no confirmation of a movie, some members of the cast have expressed their hope that there would be one to conclude the story as the show approaches its final season.

“Stranger things have happened, and the nice thing is, we never thought it was going to come back this time, and it did, so life is full of surprises,” Jess Harnell said. “Personally, I think an Animaniacs movie would be a great idea, and giving them that room to run around in for 90 minutes, I think would friggin’ be amazing, so I hope so.”

Tress MacNeille believes that Animaniacs fans have the ability to make a feature film adaptation of the show a reality. However, the original Animaniacs cast cannot participate in the decision-making process.

“We were discussing [an Animaniacs movie] earlier. I think it would be a great idea,” MacNeille adds. “Of course, we’re not in charge of that, but the fans can be a very powerful voting bloc, so I would encourage people to let their wishes be known.”

Even if there isn’t a sequel film, the other members of the show’s ensemble cast are happy that they only got to come back for this latest entry. “We don’t know at this point, but we’re grateful to have the chance to make 36 new episodes over three episodes and give people back their childhoods with our original voices,” Maurice LaMarche says. “Steven [Spielberg] had the right idea in that if you’re trying to give people back their childhoods, you can’t with new voices, and we’re very honored and glad of that because this show holds up.”

With its razor-sharp writing, memorable characters, and infectious theme song, “Animaniacs” is a true classic of animated television. And with the show’s revival continuing to garner critical acclaim and adoration from fans young and old, it’s clear that the legacy will continue to entertain and delight for years to come. On February 17th, the last season of Animaniacs will become available on Hulu.
