During a recent podcast, Brooke Shields shared that she is no longer in contact with her ex-husband, retired tennis player Andre Agassi. She revealed that Agassi and his team contacted her years ago to verify some stories in his 2010 autobiography that included details about her.
Shields further mentioned that although she provided notes to Agassi, he didn’t consider them because they didn’t align with his memories of their relationship.

Shields spent five hours with the ghostwriter, sharing diaries that she kept to ensure the accuracy of the information. Yet, she discovered that there were “many” mistakes, and “everything was just off.”
Despite Shields’ suggestions for changes, Agassi refused to make any modifications because “that’s not how I remember it, and it is my book.” Shields called her editor to confirm if Agassi’s letter was appropriate. She later learned that he claimed Shields approved of the stories, which wasn’t true.
Shields expressed her disappointment, feeling that Agassi didn’t consider her feelings or memories in his book. She mentioned that she was “duped in a big way.”
