The Annabelle Movies in Order of The Plotline


The Conjuring universe has been significant in producing some of the best supernatural horror movies for fans of horror movies. Many fans have met their releases positively, and the films have continued to perform well. The most recent release, ‘The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, has performed well and has gotten a good rating on most streaming platforms.

Things still seem strange after finding out the doll didn’t burn out and that it was packed in the stuff they moved with.

The investigators find out about the demon and its plan to possess Carolyn and use her against her daughters.

Annabelle Comes Home (2019)

In doing this, she frees Annabelle, who now targets Judy, Ed’s ten-year-old daughter.

La Llorona is the sobbing woman in their nightmares, but soon they see her during the day. Her only hope for survival is a disillusioned priest who has defeated his fear.

Peggy’s daughter, Janet, is possessed first and starts showing a change in character, which becomes a cause for alarm for the team.

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021)

1981 marked the first time a murder suspect would use demonic possession as a defense. Many are left in awe in this specific case, even the paranormal investigating couple, Ed and Lorraine. This happened after an exorcism by the couple left a demon in Arne, and Ed fell unconscious for a month.

Arne, possessed by the demon, commits terrifying murders, and the couple and the police have to prove his statement and try to stop the demon.

Where to stream The Conjuring Movies

The Conjuring movies were released in different years, and many changes with production and streaming rights were evolving. This means the movies may be produced by one franchising company, but some are found on other streaming VODs to be purchased, rented, or streamed. The various companies involved are also available in different regions.

‘The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, is the most recent release. It was released on June 4, 2021, in theatres and on HBO Max for streaming as well as being available for purchase on Prime Video.

‘Annabelle Comes Home,’ released before the last sequel, is only available for streaming on HBO Max. However, if you wish to purchase it, Prime Video has it available for purchase.

‘The Curse of La Llorona’ is also available for streaming on HBO Max. DirecTV and TruTV also possess the rights to air the movie.

‘The Nun’ had been exclusive on HBO Max but can also be purchased on Prime video.

‘Annabelle: Creation,’ the second entry in the Annabelle series, is available on HBO Max.

Is Annabelle 4 Coming?

What would be a better present for the year ending than the release of horror fans’ favorite sequel Annabelle? Out of all the conjuring movies ranked, Annabelle is the most popular and has a larger fan base.

The Conjuring universe has been a force to reckon with in entertaining, and without doubt, they are working on something.  Most sources, following the trends of their previous releases, believe that the untitled sequel getting prepared is the 4th Annabelle movie.

However, no official announcement has commented anything concerning the continuation of the film, and there cannot be a release within the short period.

Is Annabelle on Netflix?

No. Most Conjuring movies are originally produced and owned by HBO Max, and Annabelle is no exception. Even though viewers can find other movies from The Conjuring universe on Netflix after some time, Annabelle is not on Netflix.

For fans of horror movies, The Annabelle films from the Conjuring universe are a must-watch as they are stocked with creativity and are among the best in the genre. Their interrelation makes them even more interesting, and their characters drive the scenes to seem more lively.
