Disney+ has announced a new spin-off from the popular series ‘WandaVision,’ titled “Agatha All Along.” This upcoming show, set to premiere on September 18, will feature Kathryn Hahn reprising her role as the beloved character Agatha Harkness.
The series will debut with two episodes and draws its name from a catchy song in “WandaVision” that captured the hearts of fans.
“It’s an amazing cast. I’m in awe of everyone’s work in this show and I think people are going to be surprised,” said Kathryn Hahn, expressing her enthusiasm for the project.
“Agatha All Along” will explore Agatha’s journey to regain her magical powers, supported by new and returning characters.
Patti LuPone, joining the cast as a powerful witch, commented on the series’ appeal,
“It’s gorgeous to look at on top of it being a fantastic story. It looks like a $100m movie.”
Opting for practical effects over CGI, the production aims to deliver a more authentic magical experience. This choice helps keep the magical charm that fans of ‘WandaVision’ enjoy.
Marvel Studios has already begun to build anticipation with a teaser on Twitter featuring a familiar tune from Agatha’s storyline in “WandaVision”:
