Marvel Studios’ President and Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige doubled the excitement of the audiences and wow’ed the advertisers at Disney’s upfront presentation on Tuesday in New York City.
Kevin Feige turned up to Disney’s upfronts and revealed that Loki was the most-watched Marvel series on Disney+ to date and dropped the first trailer for Marvel’s latest comedy series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
Regarding Loki, Feige shared that it was a “bold swing” and the “wild ride paid off.” He also said that Loki was the first Marvel series on Disney+ to land a second season. The production for season 2 will be kicking off within the next few weeks. Leading star Tom Hiddleston will be returning along with the whole cast.
Loki revolves around the story of the God of Mischief as he finds himself in a never-seen-before MCU world. He has been arrested by the Time Variance Authority (TVA) because he stole the Tesseract and ran away with it. As a result, he “branched another timeline”.
Make sure you watch Loki on Disney+ just in time to tune into the next season.
Other stars who share the screen with Hiddleston are Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, Richard E. Grant, Wunmi Mosaku, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw. Loki is directed by Kate Herron, and the head writer is Michael Waldron.

Feige treated the MCU fans to the trailer and the premiere date for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, featuring the titular leading lady, Tatiana Maslany.
President Feige didn’t make the announcements all by himself, though. He invited Samuel L. Jackson, aka Nick Fury, and teased the audience about Secret Invasion. He also invited Tatiana Maslany on stage to introduce the trailer for She-Hulk.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows the story of Jennifer Walters, a single, 30-something attorney, as she navigates her way through a complicated life while also being a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk. The series comprises of nine episodes and will debut on Disney+ on August 17th.

Feige shared with the audience,
“Being part of a company like Disney provides so many incredible opportunities for customers, and since the launch of Disney+ in late 2019, our team has been able to extend and expand our storytelling in a whole new way. When we were first asked to start working on programming for Disney+, we knew we wanted to weave together storylines between the films and our series that are part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, or the MCU, as a whole. From the six series we’ve watched so far, we’ve introduced fantastic new characters, but we’ve also been able to dive deeper into the lives of the backstories of some of the MCU’s favorite superheroes”
Kevin Feige further added,
“Marvel is at such a stage where it can now finally start seeing the results of this interconnectivity between Disney+ and the feature films leading up to the theatrical release of Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness following WandaVision”
The new Marvel and Disney+ series features the works of Mark Ruffalo as Smart Hulk, Benedict Wong as Wong, and Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/the Abomination. The cast also includes Jameela Jamil, Josh Segarra, Ginger Gonzaga, Renée Elise Goldsberry, and Jon Bass.
Executive producers are Kevin Feige, Victoria Alonso, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Jessica Gao, and Kat Coiro. Co-executive producers are Jennifer Booth and Wendy Jacobson.
