The Flash Art Predicts the Look of the Film

The Flash is a highly anticipated film coming to theaters soon, and fans eagerly speculate about who the villain will be. With the film being set to feature Barry Allen, the fastest man alive, fans want to see who he’ll be against in this exciting new film.

New CEO David Zaslav has been canceling several projects for tax write-offs as part of Warner Bros. Discovery’s efforts to revamp the company’s operations, including DC Films. Most of the studio’s DC Films administration was purged and some projects also got canceled, including Batgirl and The Wonder Twins. WB took some time attempting to figure out how to go with the Ezra Miller-led The Flash, which has been a source of controversy owing to the actor’s continuous legal difficulties.

Zaslav would go on to name James Gunn and Peter Safran as the new co-CEOs of DC Studios, and later on in the year The Flash movie’s fate had to be decided. The name of a new character, Dark Flash, was made public when merchandise from the film began to become available for purchase online. Dark Flash has a highly recognizable all-black suit that gives the impression that it was constructed out of rocks, and that he is going to be in the film as the antagonist. An artist has developed a fresh design that imagines what the outfit may look like if it were worn in real life.

Our commitment to Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Harley Quinn, and the rest of the DC stable of characters is only equaled by our commitment to the wonder of human possibility these characters represent.
