Affleck has previously stated that he will retire from the role of Batman in 2019 and has been honest about the emotional and professional challenges that come with it. So, it was a pleasant surprise two years back when it was revealed that Ben Affleck will be suiting up once more for The Flash, a movie with Ezra Miller that will be released on June 23, 2023, and that will also feature Michael Keaton as Batman.

It was believed that Affleck’s last performance in the Batman role would be with The Flash, but now it seems he will be back on screens before that, with the Lost Kingdom. No words have been said yet on how big Affleck’s role will be in the next Aquaman movie, set to release on March 17, 2023.

Fans are excited to see Affleck’s participation in the next Aquaman movie. Momoa is returning as the titular character Arthur Curry, a waterlogged hero, James Wan is back as the filmmaker and the script is written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick.
