The “Anaconda” rapper Nicki Minaj has defended Britney Spears and criticized the pop star’s ex-husband, Kevin Federline after he publicly questioned Spears’ parenting abilities. More than a week ago, Kevin made comments in the media about the singer’s relationships with their two sons, 15-year-old Jayden James Federline and 16-year-old Sean Preston Federline. The moment Kevin made remarks Nicki took her Queen Radio show to vituperate Federline for his comments, showing that she has Britney’s back and is ready to support her till the world ends.

In an episode of her Amp radio show Queen Radio that aired on Tuesday, Nicki Minaj addressed the conflict between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, blasting Federline for talking to the public about “Spears” and her relationship with their sons.

While discussing on air the rapper said of Federline, “Do you understand what kind of a clown you have to be to be — a whole, grown fucking man, and as soon as you see somebody happy and getting married and moving on and being free and feeling good in their own skin, to do the very thing that you know is going to attempt to break them down? Going to the media?”

Minaj continued on the live stream, “Only cowards use the media against a famous person who they once loved, they procreated with, they’re being taken care of by, they once were being taken care of by.”

Federline was married to Spears from 2004 to 2007 but the relationship was not a very pleasant one, as opposed to what they would have expected. The couple got separated due to personal reasons. Later on, she was granted full custody of their children in 2008. Federline posted videos on Instagram on August 11 that appeared to show Spears arguing with their sons, although the posts were shortly deleted the moment Nicki took Spears on the Queen Radio show to blast Federline.

Before that incident,  in the previous week, on August 6, Federline was interviewed by the Daily Mail in which he talked about the boys choosing to skip Spears’ wedding to Sam Asghari and their decision not to see their mom.

On August 10, in response to Federline’s Daily Mail interview, a day before he published the videos that appeared to show Spears yelling at their sons, she took to her instagram to express her feelings about her sons’ “harsh” decision to see her less. A long, emotional post that was also later deleted.

The heartbroken singer said in the deleted post. “I talk about it because my heart doesn’t understand cruelty. It breaks my heart because it seems to be that these days, cruelty does in fact win, although it’s not about winning or losing !!!” She further continued, “but I can’t process how I dedicated 20 years of my life to those kids … everything was about them !!! For them to knock the breath out of me.”

On Queen Radio, Minaj blasted Federline and also accused him of using Spears’ fame against her. She asked him, “As this constant ‘gotcha’ moment.” She sent a direct message to Federline during the stream, asking if he thought the public would pity him. “You think you’re not gonna fucking have karma from it? You think it’s OK? You think that anybody’s going to feel sorry for you?”

“You think you’re not gonna fucking have karma from it? You think it’s OK? You think that anybody’s going to feel sorry for you?” she asked.

Minaj also criticized Federline for bringing his and Spears’ sons into their public feud. “How dare you encourage this woman’s children to be a part of your nonsense?” she said.

She continued, “When they look back, they’re gonna say, ‘Why, why, why did we do this?’ They’re kids. They don’t know how detrimental this is, but you know.”

Britney Spears and Nicki Minaj worked together on a remix of Britney Spears’s “Till the World Ends.” Also, Spears and Minaj performed together on the “Femme Fatale” tour in 2011, and their friendship goes a long way.

Minaj, a mother of one, admired Spears, her former collaborator, and said, “She loves her kids more than life itself.”

Nicki hasn’t been the only star who raised her voice for Britney amid her drama with Kevin, who she divorced in 2007 after less than three years of marriage.

Britney, whose 13-year-long conservatorship was terminated by L. A judge, had to go through mental trauma in which she suffered a lot of panic attacks. It took Britney some time to recover herself with the help of a lot of support and the right medication

After all the drama came to an end in her life, the pop singer also shared how she spent the weekend raising her first glass of champagne after the conservatorship ended, while celebrating her “freedom.” However, she has had a difficult past, but all her fellow artists, friends and fans fully support her and wish her a lifetime of happiness.
