Don Darryl Rivera, Allison Guinn, and Gerald Caesar: Joining "Only Murders in the Building" Season 3

Hulu’s hit comedy-mystery series, “Only Murders in the Building,” has just announced the addition of three new cast members to their upcoming third season. Don Darryl Rivera, Allison Guinn, and Gerald Caesar will be joining the show as recurring characters.

The aforementioned recurring stars will be joining the Broadway alums, Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez. The cast further includes other previously announced newcomers, including Meryl Streep, Paul Rudd, Jesse Williams, Ashley Park, Andrea Martin, Linda Emond, Wesley Taylor, and Jeremy Shamos.

While details about the roles of the new cast members have not been revealed, the show’s format remains a comedic murder-mystery series. In the first two seasons, the story revolved around the trio’s investigations of two murders that occurred inside their exclusive Upper West Side apartment building.

However, the upcoming season will see the trio stepping out of their building to solve a new murder. The latest murder involves the lead actor, Ben Glenroy (played by Paul Rudd), in a new Broadway play. He falls dead on stage just as the show is about to begin, leaving the group to investigate a murder outside of their familiar surroundings.

The show’s co-creator, John Hoffman, has hinted that the investigation will lead to some interesting plot twists, with the investigation surrounding a vague interaction between Ben and Charles-Haden Savage (played by Andrea Martin) just moments before Ben’s death.

To further add, the spoiler picture dropped by Steve Martin with Selena Gomez in a wedding dress, hints at an interesting twist for season 3.

Fans of the show can look forward to another thrilling season, as the trio of true-crime enthusiasts take on their latest case in a new setting, with the help of an exciting cast of new and returning characters.

Only Murders in the Building is a 20th Television series created and written by Steve Martin and John Hoffman, who also serve as executive producers. Alongside them, Martin Short, Selena Gomez, “This Is Us” creator Dan Fogelman, and Jess Rosenthal also executive produce the show.
